Best Practices

Best Practice 1:

Title of the Practice: Initiatives towards women empowerment

Objectives of the Practice

The Context

Women's empowerment entails liberating women from the vicious circle of social, political, economic, and gender-based discrimination. It is critical for them to be trained in order to serve their family at home and professional fronts. Women's economic betterment and empowerment are critical to strengthening women's rights and allowing them to have control over their life and health. Women's development not only creates a prosperous path but also empowers people. Women, when given the correct opportunities and exposure, may excel in any industry. Such skill development activities are held for students on a regular basis in college to implant the necessary skills and abilities in order to shape their overall personality.

The Practice

By empowering young women, skill development training programs aim to provide skills to improve employability, boost confidence, and earn cash in order to achieve economic and social independence. Associated activities are linked with aims to uplift young women’s spirits such as certificate courses, workshops, demonstrations, hands-on training, contests, and awareness lectures to improve work ability. The women's development cell supervises this plan of action.
